Kem Mill is a development of nine Executive Homes in Whittle-le-Woods, immediately to the west of Whittle-le-Woods Cricket Club and about two miles north of Chorley Town Centre.

In April 2014, planning consent was achieved for nine Executive Homes. Construction commenced in late 2017 and completed in February 2019. Each home was designed individually by local architects with the aim of creating a development focused on character and quality.

Lancaster Way is located in the heart of Buckshaw Village, to the North of Chorley town centre.

In 2014 Primrose purchased approximately 3 acres of land and planning consent was achieved on a parcel of approximately 2 acres and was subsequently sold to Aldi in 2015, who have built their own retail unit.

On a second parcel, a Community Centre was built and sold to Chorley Council, for the benefit of the residents of Buckshaw Village.

Along with the Aldi and the Community Centre, the development is very popular with local residents, with a consistently high footfall throughout the week and at weekends.

The popularity of this speculatively built retail scheme has lead to the development at Calder Park, on Preston Road in Chorley, where the model was evolved to create a scheme with a slightly different feel, but with a consistency of design.
